Last month, UChicago Medicine’s Summer Revenue Cycle Internship came to a close as our interns wrapped up the program with their final presentations.
Throughout the summer, interns Abdulrahman Alali, Lizbeth Arredondo, and Nevaeh Porter gained hands-on exposure to healthcare revenue cycle operations through shadowing, projects, and professional development opportunities designed to prepare them for future careers in healthcare.

We’re especially proud to recognize Ingalls intern Lizbeth Arredondo, who joined the team after receiving an Ingalls Development Foundation Scholarship earlier this year. A recent graduate of Thornton Township High School, Lizbeth will attend the University of St. Francis this fall, where she plans to major in Radiology.
Congratulations to all of our interns on completing the program! We wish you continued success as you begin this exciting new chapter in college.
