Dr. Sasmita Misra provided an overview of breast imaging while describing the impact of our latest Desser Fund investment, Savi Scout, a breast cancer surgery radar localization system.

Nationally known and close to home, Ingalls Memorial Hospital and Richard K. Desser, M.D., Comprehensive Breast Center in Tinley Park have been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The designation signifies that Ingalls meets the highest standards of the Radiology profession for breast imaging and diagnosis. A center of excellence designation is only awarded to high quality breast centers.
