Through cutting edge therapy equipment, which research has shown the most effective treatment for patients, patients are regaining independence and mobility.

North Building Renovations

Improved inpatient rehabilitation services were the result of the 1st and 2nd floor renovations, which contain the ShirleyRyan Ability Lab. Enhancements included infrastructure improvements such as: plumbing, electric, HVAC, roof repairs, IT services, cabling, WiFi/DAS, Network (LAN).

Wood Street Renovations

As the Illinois Department of Transportation is investing in Wood Street to support 2024 transportation needs, UChicago Medicine Ingalls will create better access to our facility. These enhancements will include reducing traffic back-up by increasing from four to five lanes. The plan also helps eliminate poor drainage on Wood Street.
