Harvey, IL — The Ingalls Development Foundation is delighted to announce Anne Cannon as our patient inspiration story for the 2025 Promise of Hope Fashion Reveal, benefiting the comprehensive cancer care program at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial.
Ms. Cannon will share her amazing story of healing and hope to highlight an event that celebrates cancer patients, their care-givers and service providers who deliver a menu of services throughout the Southland at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial.
Also honored this year is Dr. Mark Kozloff, a remarkable leading medical figure nationally who is retiring this year after 40 years as a clinical and research Oncologist at Ingalls!
“It’s been an amazing ride, says Dr.Kozloff. I can’t imagine a more fitting platform to share my love of our patients and care for this community than attending the Promise of Hope.”
Dr. Kozloff has established an international reputation for cancer care at Ingalls, especially among at risk and minority patients. While African Americans enroll in clinical trials at less than 10% nationally, the enrollment rate under Dr. Kozloff’s leadership at UCM Ingalls is nearly 50%!
Now in its 27th year, the Promise of Hope has raised more than $2.8 million to support cancer research and oncology care at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial. Co-Event sponsors this year include Rogers & Holland Jewelers and Synergy Behavioral Health. Tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased online: Full link: https://e.givesmart.com/events/GeG/
