Three students from Thornton High School District 205 were among the first class of interns to complete a workforce development program last quarter funded through the Ingalls Development Foundation.
“We are thrilled with the partnership with the foundation and look forward to growing the program in 2025,” said Nicole Foundation, Vice President Revenue Cycle. Rev Cycle created the internship model we are seeking funders to expand in 2025.
Workforce Development is one of five core components of our Wood Street Community Health Corridor Anchor Hospital Community Development Plan, with funding opportunities around workforce development, housing, food insecurity and access to care. These are leveraging the hospital to help address the social determinants of health in our community.
