The Ingalls Development Foundation in partnership with the Kadet Cancer Research Foundation, continues the work of fighting cancer through oncology research for a cure. Due to the Kadet family’s long term commitment toward multiple altruistic initiatives and their philanthropic investment in UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial, we were the first to open a trial providing immunotherapy to terminal bladder cancer patients. This medication is now approved, for the nation, upon the results of the trial – and for some people – it means extending their life from months to years.
Juell Kadet, company matriarch, jewelry designer, owner of Rogers & Hollands and Ashcroft & Oak Jewelers and 30+ year breast cancer survivor, established the Kadet Cancer Research Foundation in 1992 to help raise funds to further cancer research. To date, the Foundation has donated nearly $1 million to the Cancer Care Clinical Trials at Ingalls Hospital in Chicago. In 1998, she founded the Annual Promise of Hope Fall Reveal Fashion Show to raise additional funds for cancer research and clinical trials.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements about the 2021 Promise of Hope Fashion Reveal this spring!
