Celebrating the 7th Annual Drive Thru Baby Shower
The Annual Drive Thru Baby Shower provides expecting families with needed baby items to start their parenthood journey, but most importantly, it provides awareness and access to helpful community resource in their neighborhood.
The 7th Annual Drive Thru Baby Shower was held on Saturday, September 12 and provided 200 expecting moms with free diaper bags filled with baby essentials, car seat safety checks, and various other prizes.
The University of Chicago Medicine’s Community Health Needs 2025 Community Benefit Report
Assessment identifies the most significant health challenges affecting the communities it serves and guides how resources are directed to improve health outcomes. Healthy Baby Network
The Healthy Baby Network is a vital outreach effort aimed at improving maternal and infant health outcomes in the Southland area. It does so through timely prenatal care access, educational programming, infant safety initiatives, and meaningful community events.
Nutrition Stations
The Nutrition Stations at Ingalls Memorial Hospital offer free, nutritious food to all oncology patients and their families, eliminating barriers to nutritional wellness during cancer treatment. Since 2021, over 11,700 patients and their families have benefited from this initiative, distributing more than 77,000 pounds of food at no cost to recipients.
